Having spent most of my life in Australia, I developed a deep appreciation for its design culture — relaxed yet refined, rooted in nature and craftsmanship. That love for art, interiors and materiality has always been central to how I see and shape space.

When I returned to Singapore, I noticed a gap — a limitation in how furniture and carpentry were being approached in the interiors space. I saw an opportunity to bridge cultures, drawing from my Australian sensibilities and my Singaporean heritage to create something both grounded and global.

Together with my family’s four decades of experience in Singapore’s interior design and construction industry, we establishedPeridot Interiors— a studio built on precision, partnership, and a deep respect for the craft.

Through Peridot and in creative partnership with Atelier V&A, we are reimagining what custom furniture and carpentry can be: expressive, intentional and made to last.

Our vision is to bring together the best of local artisanship and global design influence — creating timeless pieces that feel as good as they look.
